Philanthropy New Zealand Philanthropy New Zealand is a membership association formed in 1990 as an initiative of the Roy McKenzie Foundation. The original nucleus of 20 members has grown to 111 organisations representing private trusts and foundations, and those grant-making trusts unique to New Zealand created through the sale of community banks and energy utilities. Funding Information Service New Zealand Federation of Voluntary Welfare Organisations The NZ Federation of Voluntary Welfare Organisations is an active network of social service organisations. It has been active over four decades and has a membership base of more than 130 organisations. Trust Waikato's purpose is to help organisations carry out charitable, cultural, philanthropic and recreational projects of benefit to people in the Greater Waikato. Every year the Trust holds one major donation round, allocating funds to around 1000 community groups. JR McKenzie TrustThe Trust makes grants to community organisations in New Zealand, mainly in the areas of social services, health services and community development. You can check out whether your organisation might be eligible for a grant, and download our application forms.
