Tindall Funding

Community Waikato are fund managers for The Tindall Foundation

The Tindall Funding round opens in early October and closes late November of each year

Essentially being fund mangers for Tindall means that we administer an allocated portion of The Tindall Fund. The Tindall Foundation provides guidelines for the kind of work it wishes to see funded each year. For example, within the Supporting Family and Social Services category, the foundation supports:

Budgeting
Community services and development
Adult literacy and numeracy
Maori, migrant, refugee and cross cultural strategy goals
Early intervention
Youth development.

The funding is not available for the following:

Health
Core education
Purchase of capital assets
Establishment of charities
Overseas travel
Overseas exchange programmes
Drama and art societies
Sport business proposals
Venture capital initiatives
Commercial loans
Promotion of religious or political messages, creeds or doctrines.
